This was a blog about… well… nothing :). Just my life as I traverse my 30’s. Nothing overly interesting… or so I thought…
Enter infertility. What fun! We’ve been at it for about 2 yrs now. My husband N and I are both 33 and as I write this we find ourselves in our first round of ivf.
In case you’re wondering (why else would you be here), We’re dealing with severe MFI (Male factor infertility). My love is a carrier for CF and has a balanced reciprocal translocation between chromosomes 16 and 18. A chromosomal issue which, while it doesn’t have any physical effects on my husband, causes early miscarriages. This means we have to have PGD (pre-implantation genetic diagnosis/diagnostic) testing on our embryos. That’s the basic jist of our story. It’s crappy, but it could be worse.
Welcome to my blog. I think it’s officially an infertility blog now. Thank you for reading and feel free to ask me any questions. I’m a noob but we all gotta start somewhere!
Hi there,
I couldn’t find an email so I figured I’d leave you a comment.
My name’s Asher. I’m reaching out to you on behalf of Chelsea Fertility NYC.
We had a thought that a collection of inspirational quotes would give people dealing with infertility an extra glimmer of hope. By no means would it fix their problems, but that glimmer of hope might just be enough to get them through the day. So we pulled together a collection of quotes we think could do just that. We posted it here on our blog.
https://www.chelseafertilitynyc.com/15-quotes-inspire-journey-parenthood/
Now we’re reaching out to bloggers like you to help us possibly spread that extra glimmer of hope.
Feel free to post it, share it or just let me know what you think. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
Thank you and I hope you have a fantastic day.

Hi Asher. I just read the blog post and I’ll be definitely share it on my page. Also, unrelated, Asher is my first pick for a boy name so far. haha. Have a great weekend! Stay warm!
Seems like we have a lot in common – my husband has CF so we are on this same wild journey to parenthood due to male infertility. I look forward to catching up on your journey and following your blog.
Thank you for following! I’m sorry that we go through this but at least we aren’t alone :)… Wishing you the best of luck!! ps my infertility posts only start around July 2014. I wouldn’t want you to read all the boring stuff leading prior to that haha.
Haha ok thanks for the heads up! Best wishes to you as well!
Thanks for following me! Although I hate that you’re in this battle, I look forward to reading your story!
