I Can’t Brie-lieve It!

FOUR!!!

Earlier when I heard, it was more like

FOUR…

But the news has sunk in for the most part. I am so relieved that this part is over. Of course I wanted more. We always want more. But 4 is better than we’ve ever done. This is cycle is still the best cycle!

I am so fucking scared of the next part but I am going to try my utmost to relax and forget about it as best as I can. Thanksgiving could not have come at a better time.

So there you have it, my friends. 4 little fighters. 4 potential babies. 4 hopes and dreams.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to eat and entire wheel of brie.

  1. When we had our little miracle, we only had 2 embryos when transfer day arrived. We were down initially too, but all you need is one to have a chance. I remember when they gave us the picture of our two embryos on transfer day, with two little stars drawn next to them. Only one stuck, but he made it all the way and he is perfect. I still love looking at that picture of him and his embryo brother/sister… I am sending positive thoughts your way and hope your little stars stick. Good luck!

  2. Hi! I’ve read your entire blog (stalker?!) – you are so funny and raw and I can relate to a lot! I’m doing IVF because of a gene which I’m a carrier for. I started the IVF process in June, and I finally published my blog which I had been keeping in secret. One of my favorite things about your blog was the post where you talk about even and odd years — my husband and I subscribe to a similar but opposite theory (even years bad; odd years good) and I wrote all about it in my first blog post. This isn’t supposed to be an advertisement for my own blog – I really just wanted to thank you for all the great entries you’ve posted – it’s really helped me through all this darn waiting that IVF entails!

    • Hi! Thank you so much for reading my blog. I’m so honoured and I’m happy to meet someone who shares my even and odd year thing lol. I’m definitely going to read your blog as well and I’m going to be cheering you on once the fun begins! This journey can be so lonely, it warms my heart to be able to make connections! xxx PS This year has been pretty shitty so I may be switching to the odd years good theory :).
